I originally called to schedule on a Friday for the following Tuesday Morning. Received a message Monday afternoon to reschedule for Wednesday to accommodate another homwowner nearby. When I called back, they no longer remembered calling and I was on the schedule for Tuesday between 9:30 am and 10am. At 10:15am I called because no one had called or shown up. Eventually I was told the machine broke and I needed to be rescheduled. The next day I received a call to reschedule for the following Wednesday at 3. I received a call at 2:50 saying it would be closer to 4. At 4:50 I received a call saying it would be after 6. At 6:20 the guy showed up and didn't know how to clean our ducts because the vents are not the type that are flat on the floor. He said he would be back the next day. We reworked schedules to be there. No one showed up or called. I called over the weekend to ask what happened. I expected a call Monday morning (at the VERY latest) when we did not get one, we called and were met with the office manager (co-owner) was sick Thursday and Friday. We did not receive an apology. But they wanted to schedule for Wednesday again. We are not re-scheduling with them due to the multiple late and no shows. I am VERY disappointed.

It extremely rare that something like this happens. We've been doing this for 40+ years and our repeat business is basically what keeps us going. I am very sorry for this inconvenience as there are always two different sides to each story. I apologize on behalf A Chimney & Vent Expert LLC. We would be willing to give you a free inspection report should you change your mind about using us.

I didn't go with them because I refuse to work with someone as rude as Sheila. I asked if our consult was free because she was very confusing in her messages. When I didn't respond she wrote back asking why and said "it would help me to know whether 'free no charge inspection' is too much." That made me lol but also made me glad I went with my gut to NOT go with a company who has someone as the face of customer service that is so rude and unprofessional. Don't waste your time. Updating bc I just read there response that was 5 months later, but this shows the kind of professionalism that Sheila exhibited during our exchanges. Again, she couldn't answer a simple question. I'd be happy to show emails for proof of the convo if the company prefers!!

Sadly, there are some customers that no matter what you do or how you do it, they are never satisfied. I'm very sorry that Alina has nothing more to do with her time than look at reviews from "5 months ago". We here at A Chimney Expert LLC work very hard to earn our customers' trust as is exhibited in our very large amount of repeat customers. I offered a free service to Alina but she refused. We can not do more than offer a free service.
