FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the project scope, size, level of detail, and the type of interior design services needed. I offer both flat-fee project pricing and hourly services when appropriate. After learning more about your space, goals, timeline, and desired deliverables, I provide a clear proposal so you understand what is included before we begin. For larger projects, fees may be broken into phases such as concept design, space planning, selections, documentation, and implementation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process usually begins with a discovery call to understand your project, goals, style, budget, timeline, and any pain points in the space. From there, I review photos, measurements, plans, inspiration images, and any existing project information. Depending on the scope, the next steps may include space planning, concept development, mood boards, material and finish selections, furniture or fixture recommendations, drawings, 3D views, and coordination notes for contractors or trades. My goal is to create a design that is beautiful, functional, and clearly documented so the process feels organized from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Arts in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. My training includes interior architecture, space planning, construction documentation, materials and finishes, kitchen and bath design, lighting, furniture planning, and 3D visualization. I also have professional experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and rendering tools to create both technical drawings and visual presentations for clients and contractors.
