AK Tutoring

AK Tutoring is a tutoring service established in June of 2014 by a high school senior named Ashley. Ashley realized that many younger students in the Northern Virginia area were struggling with courses she had found ways to understand and explain. While in high school, Ashley was a part of her school's (11th Grade students paired with 8th Grade Students) mentoring program and realized that the reason students were facing academic problems now was because they had a rocky foundation in their earlier educational journey. The mission of AK Tutoring is to inspire students of ALL AGES to reach their full potential through providing a high-quality, affordable, one-on-one, tutoring service. We aim to not only serve as a tutor to students, but a mentor.
