We begin our interactions with customers with a no cost evaluation of their homes that includes a blower door test, thermal imagery, air flow testing, and a detailed inspection to focus in on the root causes of the problems they seek to correct in their homes. Simply put, our diagnosis leads to a solution of the right problem, not selling you a product. Once we determine the right course of action to solve the problem, we can perform the work too! We live in Burke, VA and had our attic/home treated for extreme high temperatures in our upper story. Marvin and his crew were punctual and worked tirelessly throughout the two day project. This was hard, messy work and upon leaving each day our home was as clean as before the crew was here. Marvin answered all of our questions before, during, and after the work and provide us with informative details about how and why procedures worked. Our upper level is now comfortably much cooler as a result of this procedure. Marvin, Mayra and Jonathan were a 5-Star outstanding work crew!

Comfenergy did a very thorough consultation and showed us many areas we could improve. We elected to do our attic insulation, have a bathroom vent redirected, and update the insulation in our unfinished basement through them. They got the job done very quickly.

We had a rather large mixed project of renovation and basement build, which included just about every craft trade; and Comfenergy pulled all the pieces together for us. They did a good job cleaning up along the way and afterwards, we also received a certificate for a cleaning service. Comfenergy kept the job site safe throughout my project. Since we were still living/working in the house during the project, there was constant communication to make sure everyone knew what was going on. We were in constant communication via email, phone and text with the John and all of the workers. I am satisfied with the quality of materials used. All of the materials were of great quality. I am satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. With this large renovation there were very few things that needed attention, and Comfenergy did a great job addressing them to make sure the final product was to our satisfaction and remained professional throughout my project. John and all of the workers were very professional, realistic and organized. Expectations were managed upfront and each part of the project was executed a balanced order. We had several phases to our project to ensure life balance during the construction. Our schedule was flexible and they worked with us every step of the way to get things done safely and correctly. There was a lot of work and scheduling that went in to our project. And so far with some of the hot/humid days that we've had, the house is comfortable and their are no signs of duct sweating in the walls. John went above and beyond for our family to make sure everything was done right so we won't have any future issues. He treated us more like family than customers, and made sure we were happy with everything. Comfenergy came up with a great plan and they were flexible with us when we wanted to add things along the way. We were in constant communication and all of my thoughts, ideas, concerns, questions were received, thoughtfully discussed and executed well.

Yes, we have over 100 solutions that we sell. We have standard pricing for each of these solutions based on unit pricing per square foot, per board foot, per linear foot or for each item depending on the solution.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin every interaction with a free evaluation of their property to understand their goals and what needs to be done to accomplish them. We end this initial interaction with a detailed proposal that shows what we are going to do, what sequence it needs to be done in, and how much the list of tasks will be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have Mechanical Engineers, HVAC professionals, and BPI (Building Performance International) Envelope Specialists on hand to develop a well informed plan of attack for our project proposals.
