Introduction: I have been working with Dogs for over 10 years and have had many opportunities to learn animal behavior.
At only 16 years old I landed a job at a local kennel where I was taught to care for the pups boarded and also prepped and taught how to do minor grooming on dogs of any breed. It was there that I found my passion and knew I wanted to make a career working with dogs.
After 2 years at the first facility I began working in a separate training facility for 6 years where I was taught by two very successful trainers and handled many different types of dogs and behaviors which included aggression cases, anxiety, and fear issues as well as helped young dogs who needed to develop better habits. Late in my career at the facility I was promoted to Head Trainer and oversaw a number of dogs that came through the Board and Train Program as well as instructed private lessons for 3 years.
My current business has been in operation for over 3 years and I have had the pleasure to work with some very dedicated owners who are happy to be a reference if needed.
On my own time I have titled my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Piper, in Rally Obedience and have began exploring Agility and other opportunities to keep my own dogs active and learning. We have helped foster for rescues within Virginia by taking on dogs who needed help before being placed in their forever homes.
We are working on offering more to our clients and are always open to ideas as I am always willing to learn more!
My business is located on approx. 3 acres and all lessons and training is oversaw on this property.
I love being able to help families coexist with their dogs and teach them the proper way to communicate with them to help everyone be more successful and enjoy one another.
When working with dogs in my boarding programs I make a bond with the dog while they are in my care and am able to really see these pups flourish and thrive in their homes after completing my programs! It honestly is a great feeling to feel you have helped not only that pup but for that family to really be able live with their dog in a better way and allow them to really become part of the families activities after finishing a program with us.
