Ron hung 3 ceiling fans for me this past weekend. He took 5 hours to do so. He had to read the directions as he hung the fans. In addition to this, I have several other issues that substantiate a two star rating. Ron broke a paddle of one fan. He did not offer to replace it or cover the cost of the paddle or a new fan. I am stuck with the cost of replacement. Each fan has a problem and I am having an expert come in to evaluate them and repair the problems. I will be out of pocket for this expense. Ron did not clean up after himself. There was trash under the bed, on the bed, and on the floor throughout the area in which he worked. He left the three boxes the fans were in for me to flatten and clean up after him. Finally, I paid Ron more than he required because he spent so long putting up the fans. I wanted to some how help compensate for his time. I provided Ron with a check, he took several minutes reviewing it but never acknowledged the extra I paid him with an appreciative gesture. There were several areas in which Ron excelled, however. He was communicative, polite, punctual, and persistent. In spite of the fact that it took him 5 hours to complete the project he did not take a break.

I understand that it took 5 hours.,but you have fail to explain that I had to leave your home to go to the hardware store to purchase screws for the refurbished fans that you purchased from ebay, these screws we paid for. On the direction part we are a handyman service not a fan supplier/builder all fans are different thats why they include directions for proper installation even electricians read them. The working conditions to install the fans were crowded to say the least, 2 foot of area to go over a canopy bed to install a fan is why we ended up with a broken blade and there was no issues when you submitted final payment and all fans were operated properly. As for the boxes that were left, you told me that you would take care of them that you had a trash compactor. I am very sorry that you feel that you did not receive what you paid for, but we would have been glad to fix any issue that you had before you made payment.
