Donald was amazing to work with. He had his work cut out for him with my fairly lazy teenager, but he always stayed upbeat and encouraging. He worked hard to connect with my son, he teaches tennis by building a connection first by getting to know a student. He is amazing!

I decided this year that I wanted to learn something new and so I chose tennis. I first began to try and learn via YouTube however, I quickly realized that I needed someone to tell me if I'm doing it right or not. So I proceeded to do a search on Thumbtack to find a tennis instructor. I found Coach D's profile and decided to check him out... We hit it off right from the start. I've only had 2 lessons so far but he is a very knowledgeable and thorough instructor. He has given me so much value already and not just in tennis but life in general... I am excited and looking forward to my growth in the game... Thanks Coach D.

Donald was great! He truly cares about development of your game and makes tennis fun! His advanced tips will help me in my matches not to mention his advanced foot work techniques. I really enjoyed my lessons with Donald as we were on a week vacation to Williamsburg from Maryland. He was nice enough to come to me and understood what I needed to change to improve my ground strokes, serve, volley, etc. I can’t say enough about his approach to the game expect book him while you can, it’s definitely a fun time.

Coach Widener is an excellent tennis instructor and an inspiring mentor. He helps to develop all aspects of the player, including technique, fitness, strategy, confidence, resilience, focus, a winning mindset, setting goals, and achieving. My daughter loves tennis but has grown tremendously as a player under Coach Widener's instruction and mentorship.
