Hiring Chef Pete for our birthday dinner was easily one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment he arrived—on time, professional, warm, and full of great energy—the entire experience felt elevated. It truly felt like we were dining in a high-end restaurant without ever leaving home. We ordered a four-course meal (appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert), and every single course was outstanding. The standout, without question, was the New York strip steak. It was hands-down the best steak we’ve ever had in our lives—better than the one we enjoyed at Le Grand Boucherie in D.C. the night before. Chef Pete’s steak surpassed every restaurant experience we’ve ever had. What really impressed us, beyond the incredible food, was his professionalism and care for the space. While cooking, he kept the kitchen spotless—cleaning as he went, keeping everything tidy and organized, and plating each course beautifully with fresh utensils and clean plates every time. He treated our kitchen like it was his own, which meant so much. And the final touch? Before settling up, he asked whether we preferred the dishes to be hand-washed or loaded into the dishwasher. That level of attention and respect is rare. By the fourth course, we were stuffed, satisfied, and absolutely blown away. We give Chef Pete a 10/10—easily the best private dining experience we’ve ever had. We’re already planning to book him again for our anniversary and can’t wait for our friends to experience his magic as well. If you’re considering hiring him—do it. Truly an unforgettable experience.
