Introduction: I am Reverend Jewel Mack. I am ordained as a minister by the Universal Life Church. I am authorized to perform weddings in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition, I am a certified wedding planner, a certified project management professional, and a member of the International Association of Professional Wedding Planners. When you choose me as your wedding officiant, we will work together to create your version of a perfect wedding ceremony. I have examples of religious, non-religious, traditional, and non-traditional ceremonies. We can customize your ceremony with your choice of vows and readings to meet your needs. I want you to have the blissful wedding ceremony of your dreams! I donate 25% of my profits to the Roanoke Valley Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RVSPCA). Jewel was very professional and provided us with a beautiful service that my wife and I loved. She helped us throughthe ceremony and offered great advice about what we could do to extend our event, but never pushed anything on us. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I pricing system is simple. I charge $100 for ceremonies at my location, $150 for ceremonies at the client's location of choice, and $200 for ceremonies at the client's location of choice with a rehearsal the day before. I charge $25 per hour for travel outside of a 50 mile radius from my location.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you have a good rapport with your wedding officiant. That person is the key to your satisfaction with your wedding ceremony.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
