I needed a new bathroom put in my basement from scratch. I had 3 people come out and Scotties contracting was the one who I had the best feeling about. Stuart's price was extremely fair and he was very knowledgeable when you have questions before and while the project is going on. Lots of changes were made during the ongoing project and everything went smooth. Stuart is genuinely a nice guy and hard worker. He showed up at around the same time everyday and would get to work. You can trust him in your home when you're not there as well. Now let's get to what he did. Just take a look at the before and after pictures. There was just an open area in my basement and he turned it into a luxury bathroom that looks great! I also hired him to paint my basement right after cause i was happy with his work!!

Thank you Stuart and the team for the amazing job and helping with my finishing basement (1 bed room, 1 full bath, laundry, wet bar and gym space), you guys did a great job. Anybody out there who is looking for remodeling or finishing their basement, I highly highly recommend Scottie Contracting LLC.

We don’t have enough good things to say about Stuart! Not only is his work incredible but he’s also super nice and helpful! He recommended design options for our bathroom, he went to Home Depot and tile stores with us to help us pick out stuff, he was always responsive and always ready to do whatever it took to make sure our bathroom project turned out exactly as we wanted it, and most importantly he is the most punctual person I know. He always showed up on time every single day and for that we appreciate him so much! He recommended the best products and answered our questions efficiently. He was also so good with our dog, Oscar loves him! I had to leave for two weeks while my husband was here and Stuart gave me a hug before I left and after I came back, he’s so personable! We trusted him to be in our house when we were out and to us that was incredibly important! I wouldn’t have picked anyone else to do our bathroom project! And we will probably call him again to do more projects around the house. Thank you so much, Stuart!

Stuart and his team were fantastic to work with on our second-floor bathroom gut and remodel and laundry room installation. We found Scottie Construction on Thumbtack and from the very start, Stuart was attentive, responsive, thorough, and transparent. He walked us through the game plan and approach, provided us with his insurance and business license, and the other references I spoke with raved about their work. When it came down to the quality and craftsmanship, the work was done in a timely manner, and looks fantastic. The Scottie team was respectful as they worked on our home and always courteous. We will be working with Stuart and his team again on our kitchen remodel!

So pleased with the way our bathroom remodel turned out! Stuart was lovely to work with- creative, hardworking, punctual, and talented. He worked diligently to get the job done in a timely manner while not sacrificing skill or quality. He provided honest feedback about some of my ideas, and offered solutions to best make them work in the space. The end result is a modern, clean, and spacious bathroom that is the nicest room in our house. :) He was an incredible value, particularly considering the outcome of the work. We also enjoyed his company and conversation as an added bonus. We look forward to working with him again in the very near future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to have a standard pricing system as no 2 jobs are the same, that is why it is better to see whats involved before i can give a price. I do not price jobs below there value nor do i price jobs at a ridiculous amount , i think that when i give a price i am very fair to the work involved.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly i try to establish a relationship with the client to see if we are a good fit for each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended VA licensing course to be classified as a B class contractor.
