Hearth & Heart Dance Academy provides ballroom and partner dance lessons throughout the Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland area. Whether you're preparing for your wedding, learning to dance for fun, training for competition, or simply looking for a new hobby, our goal is to help you build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy the journey. We believe dance should be welcoming, educational, and fun while helping every student grow at their own pace. Brittany has been teaching ballroom dance since 2018 and has worked with students ranging from absolute beginners to experienced competitors. Every lesson is personalized to your goals, learning style, and experience level. Brittany is an excellent dance instructor! Her lessons are engaging, productive, and fun. She is always prepared and ready to work, but she is also personable and patient during the lesson. She gives good, constructive feedback. I enjoy working with her!

I met Brittany Michelle when she was teaching in the Columbus, Ohio area at another studio.... She was an admitted geek.... I was a closet one... We talked Sci-Fi and anime and we learned to communicate with our eyes. We were in tune that much with each other. We danced Rhythm and we competed... And then there was this little showcase event... and being the geek, I wanted to try Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark March music. I talked with Brittany about my idea for dancing and little action events throughout..... Brittany choreographed an epic showcase, even incorporating whip work... My favorite showcase to date.... Brittany is an awesome Marion. Ohio's loss is Virginia's gain..... Geeks, Sci-Fi fans, or if you just want to learn how to dance, seek out Brittany Michelle. 8-Bit Ballroom will treat you right.
