Mia saved me from an absolute wedding disaster! When my makeup artist canceled THE MORNING OF MY WEDDING, Mia came to the rescue and was at my house later that morning. She perfectly mixed foundation on the spot having never met me before, added gorgeous faux lashes, and basically made me look 100 times more glamorous than my everyday. She was also a pleasure to sit with for the hour and put me at ease the entire time. I was such a harried mess that morning but hanging out with Mia really turned my day around. I would absolutely recommend her, she's worth the higher price point for her skill, professionalism, and personality.Feb 9, 2018Verified

Mia was great. My wife & daughter looked great, learned alot, and had alot of fun. Overall, an excellent experience. We HIGHLY revommend Mia!Feb 12, 2018Verified
Mia was friendly, open, and did beautiful work. She did the hair for my two bridesmaids, one of which had short hair, and still made everyone look beautiful for the wedding.Jul 7, 2017Verified

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've always been a hairdresser. I never liked Barbies because they didn't have enough hair! I started my professional journey in 2006.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked weddings, fashion shows, photoshoots, music videos, and have regular clients from all ethnic backgrounds. It's my pleasure to accommodate all types of people.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Plan a consultation, or trial. Have ideas ready to inspire your professional. Be open minded. Don't be afraid to speak up when a completed service wasn't satisfactory. We grow and become better every time different situations are brought to our attention. Education is everything. The average hairstylist has only the bare minimum education required to be state board certified, which isn't much. Don't let anyone touch you unless they go above and beyond to stay updated on the science of the art, as well as the trends involved in being a successful artist.
