Introduction: I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from University of Texas at Austin. I have performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
I have 30 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students of all ages and levels including college.
I am a very patient and encouraging teacher and my lessons are fun and enjoyable. I incorporate music theory, listening, technic, reading music and repertoire building in each lesson. I tailor lessons according to each student’s ability and interests.

I'm an adult student who took a break from piano and wanted to get back into playing. Dr. Lee has been an amazing teacher, helping strengthen my finger techniques, music theory , sight-reading, and overall musicality. I have learned to appreciate every single note in a piece from her in-depth analysis during our lessons. I value her flexibility in catering to my goals and interests as a pianist, as well as her broad knowledge on many styles of classical music. I would recommend Dr. Lee as a piano instructor.

I have been learning piano with Dr. Lee for almost two months now and she has been quite an amazing teacher. She is very patient and encouraging. I have greatly improved my sight-reading ability as well as my technique, which were two goals that I had prior to starting lessons. I highly recommend taking lessons from Dr. Lee to anyone at any skill level.

My daughter (9) continues to mature in her interest and appreciation of music under the instruction and care of Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee is a wonder of a teacher. In her soft spoken and gentle way, Dr. Lee nurtures my daughter’s piano playing by instilling in her a desire to play with confidence, helping her gain proficiency in her reading of music, and encouraging her to keep level of care in the details. Equally important, Dr. Lee is patient with students and is well able to assess the ways to keep students engaged throughout the lesson and beyond. We highly recommend Dr. Lee!
