I had the good fortune discovering Shahin of The Dress Master just days after her debut on Thumbtack. I met at her charming studio and was, at first, cautious and but within minutes, felt at ease and Shahin assured me “she knew what she was doing”. (which became very obvious ) Looking around at the fabrics and hats while she was measuring, I noticed that she specialized and even more intricate work then I was therefore Ie wedding dresses wedding Parties, etc. and learned she trained early in life as an apprentice in a couture setting. Shahin told me that she was one of other family members of Taylor’s and seamstresses and said “her talent with fabrics and tailoring was in her blood”Her sister presently working as a seamstress for Coco Chanel! Anyways, I just picked up my Clothing and the work was stellar! So good I found myself zooming in to inches away to admire !I’ve used other seamstresses in town and Shahin talents far exceeds all! I will send all my work and everyone know to The Dress Master before she gets too busy!!”

Shahin did beautiful work for me at a very reasonable rate. And because she is such a pro, suggested same-day turnaround (something not possible with larger jobs) so I wouldn’t have to make a separate trip on another day. My highest recommendation!

I also would choose punctuality and responsiveness if the rating system permitted more than 3 options! Shahin was a delight to work with.
