Peyton with H&E Home Improvements was very responsive to my inquiries. He showed up when he said he would and he had very good ideas for my projects. He researched on his own and followed up with suggestions regarding rodent proofing my attic and will follow up to complete the project in 2 weeks. He also installed a wall mounted TV. He was very confident and knowledgeable and I will most likely have him complete other projects in the future.

I chose Peyton because of the reviews that I saw on thumbtack, and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. We bought a very old home in the historic district that needed lots of work. One of the projects was taking down the paneling and plaster surrounding one of the fireplaces. My husband and I originally thought that we could do the work ourselves, but once we peeled away a corner of the paneling we could see that it was going to be a huge, dirty job. It turned out to be more complex then we even thought it was going to be. Peyton came in and did the job in 2 days. Though we just hired him to remove the surround and the attached makeshift closet (before and after photo attached), we are going to hire him next to actually make it attractive centerpiece to our dining room. We have loads of projects left and he will be our go to guy. Peyton is a very pleasant and competent handyman who truly cares about doing a good job at a reasonable price.
