How does your service stand out?

Our diverse services set us apart! Education is the backbone of all that we do. We want all pet guardians to be empowered and well rounded with regards to the care of their pets. We provide our clients with the necessary tools from positive reward training to CPR First Aid & Care classes.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I love to see a puppy transformed into a happily cooperative well mannered family member. It is especially satisfying to partner with pet parents to engage and empower them to hone the skills to achieve this goal for their pet and family. I also love puppy breath and wagging tails.

Michele is terrific! She is a well organized, caring and dedicated trainer, and I love her positive approach. She trains both the dog and the owner, and she makes each session fun, as well as productive! If you want a passionate, generous and highly skilled trainer to help your dog become a well-mannered member of your home, then Michele is an excellent choice! I highly recommend her.

I recently began raising a Belgian Malinois – Duchess. Without a doubt, neither my home nor my sanity would be intact without the help of her trainer, Michele. Michele has consistently gone above and beyond, giving generously of her time and energy to help me raise Duchess to be a happy and obedient member of the household. In addition to having the requisite certifications and skills, her intuition and instinctive ability to adapt training techniques best suited for my dog’s temperament and learning style are truly something to behold. Michele’s heart, soul and devotion to a positive outcome for pets and their owners seem to have no bounds. And, her ability to deliver immediate results is astounding! Duchess and I are a happy couple thanks to Michele! I give her the highest recommendation.

Michele has been training Kodiak and I for 6 weeks. She is equally patient with dog and pet parent. My 8 year old pound puppy dog has learned to heel, wait, come when called. He's practicing "leave it" and lost interest in birds altogether. Michele explains the principles of training from the dog's perspective; that is, she helps the person understand what the dog's view is so that you understand the why behind what you're learning. Most importantly, Michele is very balanced in her approach. She gives praise in equal measure to correction. Michele corrects behaviors with kindness and encourages all parties to be reasonable in their expectations. My dog was better behaved the first day. Every day has shown improvement with her positive approach.

Michele is amazing! She is well organized, caring, educated, hardworking, and dedicated. Her training methods are great, she knows how to communicate in such a way that it seems like the dogs she trains actually enjoy each training session! Michele has given me the tools to make me and my pups life more structured. Her caring demeanor extends past the training environment, for example, she calls/texts every so often to make sure everything with me and my puppy are going ok. I love that! If you want a top notch, well educated, and dedicated trainer for you and your dogs then Michele is hands down the most obvious choice. I highly recommend her. She has made lasting impressions on both me and my goldendoodle and we both appreciate her.

Two weeks before Christmas I took Michelle's Pet Saver Course. While I enjoyed it and learned so much, I hoped to never have to actually use it . On Christmas eve I walked into my bedroom to see my Chihuahua ,Angel, choking on something. I panicked then quickly calmed down as I remembered what I learned 2 weeks prior. Angel was moving no air whatsoever and i quickly put to use what I learned to dislodge a nail file top that she had gotten hold off and had lodged in her throat cutting off all air flow . Because of this training I was able to save my dogs life and received the best Christmas present ever - my Angel alive and well - all due to the training I received in Michelle's class . I would highly recommend this class to anyone with a pet .

I really like the training. I've learned alot about handling and caring for cats and dogs. Michele is very helpful and won't continue with the training until everyone understands. She has a great atittude and is very knowledgeable. She trains at her house which threw me off a bit( I thought it was in a business type building) but she has the classroom set up very well. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

Michelle is awesome! She was always very available for any questions I had, and I could tell she really loved what she did. I never owned a dog before, and she helped me every step of the way. Her training style is to teach your dog how to be a confident pet, and use positive reinforcement. I am really thankful that we found her!

Q&A

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I want people to be know that I am passionate about teaching children how to have safe interactions with dogs. Fifty percent of children are bitten by dogs by age twelve and most by a dog they know. Through the Doggone Safe Be A Tree program I teach school age children about dogs body language and how to have safe interactions. I am available free of charge to teach groups of school age children!
