FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the time, preparation, professional equipment, and care I put into every event. Event photography starts at $175 per hour with a two-hour minimum, and wedding photography packages start at $2,059. Photo booth and videography pricing varies by service, coverage time, and selected options. Travel within 30 miles of Virginia Beach is included; locations beyond that may incur a travel fee. We discuss additional coverage, upgrades, and applicable fees upfront so you know what to expect before booking. Final payment is due seven days before your event. Share your date, location, and vision, and I’ll help you find the best option for your needs and budget!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about your event or session—your date, location, vision, and the moments that matter most to you. From there, I recommend the photography, videography, or photo booth options that best fit your needs and provide clear pricing. Once you’re ready to move forward, we complete the booking agreement and payment requirements to secure your date. Before your event, we review the timeline, special requests, and logistics so we’re on the same page. On the day, I handle the details, offer direction when needed, and help you feel comfortable so you can enjoy the experience. Afterward, I prepare your photos or videos and deliver them through an online gallery, with delivery expectations discussed before booking. My goal is to make the entire process personal, organized, and stress-free!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My photography journey began in 2001 with a high school photography class, where I learned to shoot film and develop photographs. During my Navy deployments, I expanded into digital photography and taught myself editing through hands-on practice and continued learning. Since then, I’ve built experience photographing weddings, military ceremonies, corporate events, portraits, and celebrations. I continue to refine my lighting, composition, editing, videography, and photo booth skills to deliver a professional experience. My 21 years of Navy service, bachelor’s degree in IT Management, and master’s degree in Leadership also shape how I run my business—with preparation, attention to detail, technical problem-solving, and clear communication.
