- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always get three estimates on any service you need. And remember, the cheapest bid isn't always the best bet. One more thing to remember its a contractor should never ask for half down, A fair down payment on any project should never be more than the cost of matetials, plus a 1/3 of the total due upon the completion of the project. Remember you're the boss!. It's your home, and if you take care of it, it will take care of you.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
One of the things I wish customers knew about the home repair business, is that there are tradesmen that wake up everyday and love what they do. Working on homes along with the satisfaction that a repair man/woman get from completing a repair or improvement and seeing the satisfaction that the homeowner gets once their projects or problems has been completed or solved. I, as a repairmen, take great pride in completing tasks, it is that feeling of accomplishment that makes this profession fun and exciting everyday. Repairmen like me are proud to do what I do everyday, Problem solving and forming long term relationship with or Homeowners and their greatest investment, their homes.
