FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have very fond memories of helping my mother work in her flower beds. She would always take a moment to pause and show me the different flowers and tell me the names of them. The love of flowers is a gift that my mother passed on to me, and thank God I have been given the opportunity to go into work every day absolutely loving what some would call work, but I call a piece of heaven.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
It may sound strange to some, but the work I'm most proud of is the Casket Sprays I do. Most of the sprays are for people I don't know, however it's very personal to me. It's a spiritual time for me, while working on a spray. It's like the spirit of God comes over me, and I block everything out during the preparation of the spray. And, the Holy Spirit takes over and guilds the placement of every flower stem, and when it's done it is truly a beautiful thing that God has made.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Floral shops are not all created alike. Check around on price and quality.
