I have interned under licensed veterinarians, volunteered with countless animal rescue groups, was employed as a shelter manager for a no-kill animal shelter, and have worked at two different doggy daycare centers. I recently became a certified dog trainer and have completely fallen in love with the problem-solving aspects of dog training and how it allows me to help owners and their pets live happier, less frustrating, lives together! I absolutely love dogs and I love getting to know the people who love their dogs. Dog training has allowed me the opportunity to get involved and enhance the lives of owners and their pups so that everyone is happier! Erica came right on time. She was friendly, spent a little time talking about what we expected from our pup, then she spent time actually working with her. She also let us try what she had taught our dog. Erica finished up by giving further advice and answering any questions we had! I felt the time and money was well spent. Now it’s our turn to put the lessons to practice to make our pup behave as we wished!

Erika is absolutely amazing!! My dogs took to her within 5 minutes of meeting her. She totally knows her "stuff" and has made our lives with our 4 legged children so much more wonderful! It is hard to articulate how truly wonderful she is....just try her and after one session you will be saying the same thing.

Erika is amazing! I’d been having a rough time with my three dogs barking non stop. One session with Erika and I feel like I have new dogs! I can’t wait to see the complete transformation after our four sessions together. She knows her stuff, is amazing with dogs and kiddos, and made it all seem so easy and manageable. She left my house around 1:00 this afternoon and I can’t stop raving about her to my friends and family! 10/10.

Currently offering discount for new and existing clients using Marco Polo: $10 for 10 minutes of training $50 for 1 hour of training! ********************************************************** Initial consultations $125 90 minutes Private, in-home meeting to get to know owner(s) and dog(s), learn daily routines, understand behavioral issues, address concerns and determine training plan. Private In-Home Lessons $85 60 minutes Private, in-home lessons coaching clients and dogs to help find the best strategies and solutions for behavior problems. (Please note this option is NOT available for the initial session. Minimum time for initial session is 90 minutes) 4-Pack Private Lessons $325 60 minutes each 4 private lessons (in-home or on site) coaching clients and dogs together. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm going to ask a lot of questions! I want to get to know you and your dog as well as I can so that I can have a full understanding of the behavior struggles you might be having with your pup. The more information I can get, the better! I'll usually ask how long you've had your dog, if you've done any previous training, and of course, what are your training goals?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a CPDT-KSA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge and Skills Assessed) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and am canine and feline CPR and First Aid Certified.
