William and Jake of Rubirosa Contracting handled our red oak hardwood floor refinishing in May and early June 2023. From the start William (who runs the company and handles all communication) was quick to respond and provided a really good quote to sand and stain our floors with Rubio Monocoat Black. They were the only company locally I found who had experience with this finish, which can be really difficult to get right. They were flexible with timings given the uncertainty over when other contractors in the house would finish their work and were always enthusiastic and passionate about getting it right. After the finish had dried for 24 hours I called to say the downstairs didn't look as good as the upstairs (which was beautiful). Despite having paid them already, they returned almost immediately to re-sand and re-finish at no extra cost - these guys are honest, care about what they do and will never leave you unhappy. The second attempt was great and I'm so happy with how it all turned out. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend to others.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He and his partner were very polite and professional. When I tell you there is a major difference in the floors, he made them look brand new! He gave great recommendations to cover many of the stains I had on my floor and now you can hardly tell they were there. Great great great! I will definitely recommend him for my clients and and any future jobs I have!

William did an amazing job on our floors!! After he finished we regret not so doing the entire house. He was meticulous in his work, very responsive and always on time. He always kept us informed of how the floors were coming out and also gave us ideas that we hadn't thought of which increased our happiness with the project. Originally we wanted the floors grey, but Wiiam showed us the beauty of our natural floors which not only saved us money, but also kept us from making a costly mistake. His knowledge of different types of hardwood, stain colors and polyurethane proved that he is a true professional. 5 stars all the way, I HIGHLY recommend Rubirosa Contracting for your next flooring project!! Everyone who has come to my home was impressed with the beauty of the floors, a must hire!!
