Students most often take music lessons for enjoyment and as a past time and therefore a student's enjoyment from playing music is perhaps the most important part of his teaching. it is my purpose in life to teach others and allow them the opportunity to discover and pursue their passion for music as I did when I was growing up

Very patient and flexible. I’ve become a better guitar player since I started taking guitar lessons with Chris. I’ve learned about how to read sheet music, music theory, scales, chords, strumming patterns, and fingerstyle guitar.

I started taking lessons with Chris 3 weeks ago. I hadn't taken lessons in several years and after an initial interview, I felt like we would work well together and we do. He's patient and I love his teaching style so fare. Glad to have found him on Thumbtack.

Mr. Wyton gave my eight year old son guitar lessons for two years. He started with no experience and at the end of the two years he was proficient in many styles of guitar. At the last recital Mr. Wyton hosted my son performed and arrangement of a Bach Cello prelude and "Stairway to Heaven". We were so proud of our son and happy for Mr. Wyton's tutelage.

Chris has been giving my son Griffin (16) guitar lessons once a week for almost four years. He has almost become like a big brother to Griffin. Chris plays the guitar absolutely beautifully and his teaching has helped Griffin to truly fall in love with the instrument. I believe Griffin will play the guitar for the rest of his life and it's because of Chris. Chris is a professional guitarist; lessons is not something he does just on the side. He plays for events multiple times a week. I even hired him to play at an event for my company. He was incredible. Chris is just such a nice guy. He is a great role model for my son....not only as a guitar player but as a person.

Chris has been the guitar teacher for may son for close to 10 years, starting at elementary school and now that he goes to college. Before finding Chris, we had hired other teachers but they were not good and didn’t care. Chris is really good at explaining different topics and connecting the theory to practice. He really cares about his students, and has always taken an interest in my son’s progress and success in playing guitar, school, and other activities. He is patient and knows how to relate to the student and motivate them. Chris is an accomplished guitar player with great record of success, who serves as a good example for his students. He is a professional who enjoys teaching and knows how to adjust to different ages and styles. Chris knows how to play a variety of music styles and keeps student interest in mind. My son is always excited and looks forward to the lessons with Chris every week. I give Chris my highest recommendation and happy to serve as a reference for him.
