We hired Powerhouse Remodeling to build a deck on the back of our townhome. The deck turned out absolutely awesome! Better than we expected! Powerhouse's workers paid extreme attention to detail! They had to deal with an abnormally cold week of March and snow while building our deck. Our deck is 10ft off the ground, much like others in our neighborhood; for being so high off the ground it is extremely sturdy and feels as though you were standing on the ground, unlike other decks in our neighborhood! We can't wait to have Powerhouse remodel our bathrooms and relay our brick patio!

Job was to replace an existing deck, bringing it up to current county code requirements using modern long-lasting materials. Powerhouse Remodeling helped to obtain a lot survey plan, get the county construction permits and did the job during a week we were away from home. They did a super job all around.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've done construction work my whole life dating back to working with my uncle as a teenager. I truly enjoy the creativity involved in home improvements. I love that customers trust in me to design and build a variety of projects for them. It's amazing to see the project from start to finish and then the joy on their faces is priceless when it's done.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We seem to be getting a lot of customers looking to move from wood decks/porches to low maintenance materials.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had the opportunity to do a remodeling project on the home that I lived in while growing up in Arlington, VA. It was truly amazing how it looked when everything was done.
