FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and based on the amount of coverage needed. Most sessions and events are billed hourly, with a minimum booking time depending on the type of photography. All packages include professionally edited high-resolution images delivered through a private online gallery for easy download and sharing. Travel within the local DMV area is typically included, while locations farther away may have a small travel fee. I occasionally offer custom quotes for smaller events, weekday bookings, or simple ceremonies. I focus on providing high-quality images, reliable service, and a smooth experience from booking through final delivery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about the client’s vision, event details, location, and timing to make sure I understand exactly what they’re looking for. Once we confirm availability, I provide a clear quote and outline what’s included in the session or event coverage. Before the shoot or event, I communicate with the client about timing, locations, and any specific photos they’d like captured. On the day of the session, I focus on creating a relaxed and professional environment while capturing natural, candid moments as well as any important posed shots. After the session, I carefully select and professionally edit the best images. Clients receive their final photos through a private online gallery where they can easily view, download, and share their images. Turnaround time is typically within 1–2 weeks, depending on the project.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before reaching out, it’s helpful to have a few key details in mind so the photographer can give an accurate quote and plan the session properly. This includes the type of event or photoshoot, the date and location, and how many hours of coverage you may need. It’s also helpful to think about the style of photos you prefer (natural, candid, posed, lifestyle, etc.), how many people will be involved, and whether there are any specific moments or shots you want captured. Knowing your budget and timeline for receiving photos can also help ensure the photographer provides options that fit your needs. The more details you can share, the easier it is to create a smooth and enjoyable photography experience.
