I handle every single thing to do with your photos after they've been taken, from organization, to scanning, to restoration, to photo books, to slideshows for those special events in your life. I work hard to provide flexibility for all my clients, helping as little or as much as needed to help get their photo projects completed. I take pride in relieving my clients' photo-related stress and am never happier than when I hear my clients say, "You've lifted a weight off my shoulders today." I get the greatest pleasure from being of service to others. I love helping my clients solve a photo-related problem that's been weighing on them, sometimes for years. I originally hired Megan McCourt to perform a photo restoration that was important to me. The restoration was amazingly perfect and the cost was reasonable. With such success with this project I then commissioned her to design and create a phenomenal birthday invitation for my friend who is turning 70. Along with that, she designed matching address labels. The most special work of art was the DVD slide show put to music of the life of my friend. It is very obvious that she paid attention to my description of my friend and spent a great deal of time and effort in creating a blockbuster DVD... again at a most reasonable price. I intend to use her for many more special projects that I have in mind. I am very picky and she is very spectacular!!!!

My maid service had an accident and knocked a picture off the wall, shattering the glass and scratching my daughter's only senior photo. Megan came to my office and scanned the picture. It took only 15 to 20 minutes. She even billed the cleaning company directly. I'm very happy with the results! Thank you so much, Megan! I'd definitely use you again.

I sent Megan a photograph that had great sentimental value to my husband and myself, but it was in pretty bad shape. As it had been folded there was a deep crease through it. My hope was that the crease could be removed but, to my surprise, not only was that done, but the photo was brightened to bring amazing clarity to what was otherwise a very faded old looking photo. This was so much more than I expected. Now instead of keeping it in an album, I can proudly display it in a frame. As I was so delighted with this restoration, I have begun gathering together several more photographs that I know Megan will be able to restore for me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every single photo organizing project is different and every client needs a different level of service. I do have set hourly rates for certain projects, but am always flexible in working with my clients and within their budgets.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first interaction with any potential client is a 20-30 minute phone call to listen & learn what troubles they're having with their photos and/or what photo project they're interested in completing. Once I hear their needs, I'm happy to share how I can help and I present them with a plan to move forward. I assure them they're now in capable hands and we WILL get their photo project completed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my personal photo organizing certification through the Association of Personal Photo Organizers in 2012 and continue to learn new skills through the webinars, classes & conferences they provide.
