I really enjoyed having a personal, one- on- one self defense lesson with Mr. Z. He arrived on time and prepared with equipment and supplemental material. He is upbeat, efficient, and professional. I honestly feel more confident after working with him. I am absolutely recommending his individual lessons to my friends. Z effidiciously taught me enough to feel confident to defend myself against the bad guys. If you're considering taking self- defense classes, consider the value of having a personalized lesson with Mr Z as opposed to the cost and commitment of signing up for a series of several classes.

Zurriane was amazing!!! I hired Zurriane to provide a self defense class for me and my friends for a girls weekend. He made the class fun and really engaging. He focused on the mental and physical aspects of self defense and answered specific questions from the girls on how to handle situations they had questions on. He was accomodating and flexible and I would definitely hire him again in the future!

Franciscan Mission Service hired Mr. Bennett to teach a comprehensive introductory self-defense class to our volunteers who are based in Washington, DC and our missioners who are training to serve overseas. We appreciated that he took time to have an in-depth conversation with an FMS staff member prior to the session in order to gain a better understanding of the class participants and the specific goals our organization had for the class. Mr. Bennett then tailored the class based on these goals and he covered the necessary self-defense skills that our volunteers would need in different possible situations that might come up serving in a city and being abroad. Mr. Bennett's passion and pride for his work translated into a positive attitude that kept the class upbeat and energized for the entire time. Our volunteers left the class with newly acquired skills and were grateful that the session was a part of their volunteer training. Zurianne gave me a personal training session and was able to tailor it to key self defense techniques I wished to learn. He was patient, had a positive attitude throughout, and was clearly very skilled in multiple martial arts. His knowledge in these various disciplines allowed him to give me the technique he thought would be best suited for me. It is clear that practice is required to use these skills effectively, but he gave me a good foundation. Thank you Zurianne!
