CPA for 20 years starting off on my own. I have a big heart and have done a lot of free bookkeeping, tax and accounting work for friends and family. I started my business a year ago to build an income generating business while still helping others in need of quality services they cannot afford. I am new to Thumbtack. Quality work is extremely important to me. I charge based on the complexity of the work involved. My rates are comparable as I am starting off new despite my level of expertise.

I have the following credentials - CPA, CGFM, MBA. Done individual and business returns including S-Corp returns, did auditing for several years both locally and internationally.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been an accountant at heart and I even married a CPA.
