My husband and I had an intimate wedding ceremony of 35 people at Haygood United Methodist that we planned in less than 90 days. She was so easy to work with, communicate with, and talk to. It really took the stress out of the whole process. She made good suggestions in regards to music, verses, and the procession and recession line-ups. She really has your best interest at heart. We were so blessed to work with her. We whole-heartedly recommend her to bless your occassion.

Reverend Patti Money did a great job with our wedding ceremony. She listened to who we were and made our ceremony personal and special. Her guidance over the year prior prepared us for the adventure that lies before us!

Rev. Patti Money did a wonderful wedding ceremony. I loved how biblically based the vows and ceremony where. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding ceremony. You always anticipate something going wrong. But it flowed perfectly and even let me bring in my dad who is also a Rev. And allowed him to aid in the wedding. All I can say is thank you Rev. Money. Sincerely Brett Kirkhart.

Our wedding was awesome thanks to Patti. She was with us through all stages of planning the ceremony we wanted.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My fees range from $100 (no rehearsal, one meeting, less than 50 guests) to $300 (rehearsal, 2-3 pre-ceremony meetings, unlimited number of guests). If the wedding is within 40 miles of Yorktown, there is no travel charge. If it is outside the area, I will charge mileage at the IRS business rate. If the wedding is more than 90 minutes from Yorktown AND includes a rehearsal, you will need to provide lodging (a hotel of your choosing).

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I set up an initial meeting with a couple to discuss their desires for their wedding ceremony. I then have us sign a contract detailing our mutual expectations. For intimate ceremonies, only one meeting is necessary. For a larger ceremony, I will often meet with a couple for at least one additional session to plan the ceremony.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Master of Divinity (96 hours of graduate-level coursework) and 12 years of experience as a pastor. I have conducted numerous wedding ceremonies, both large and small.
