I found Early Bird Catering via a google search. I was hosting a small gathering for 6 friends who entered Middlebury College but, due to the pandemic, were not graduating together as anticipated. Devon created a classic and casual menu for these six young men and their parents. What a delicious and fantastic experience – an explosion of flavor that everyone raved about. I appreciate how he incorporated small details, understood the feeling I wanted to create and was professional from the moment he answered the phone until he left my home. I will use and recommend Devon/Early Bird Catering again.

Devon/Early Bird Catering: I attended his first event on 3/26/22 and my goodness was it a treat! The service was top notch, food amazing , and all around professional. I sure hope to punch my card into EVERY event he has down the road . I KNOW it’s worth it !

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is considered fair to moderate, especially considering the quality of food and the effort that goes into obtaining our ingredients. I will personally drive to farms an hour, maybe even 90 minutes away, just to find the ingredients I want for a pop up dinner or other event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start with an over the phone consult or email consult depending how the customer reaches out to us initially. This allows us to determine the customers needs and if they want a pre built package or a custom menu of their own. I will also help the customer find an event space if they haven't already. Follow ups include in person meeting, menu confirmation, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are Serv Safe Certified, which means our chefs have completed a food safety course. Our head chef, and owner is also a Certified Chef via a culinary program hosted in Burlington Vermont.
