Introduction

I have an individual style, traditional but also whimsical and warm. I always strive for excellence, no matter how small the project. What I like most about my "job" is that it isn't a job....it begins first thing in the morning, and ends late at night when I go to sleep. For a lot of that time I paint.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started drawing in the back of my parents stationwagon when I was 2, as we drove from New York to California, I drew and drew and drew...and haven't stopped since. I guess it's been a calling, it's all I ever wanted to do, to be.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly I illustrate children's books but also pet portraits, and I paint a lot of snowmen....
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently finished illustrating a children's book called "The Best Part of the Day"....all about gratitude and introducing children to the lovely habit of being grateful ....everyday.
