Cinder offers one of a kind open-fire cooking for all of your special events. Chefs Jake and Charlie have over 20 years combined cooking experience all the way from Boston's North End down to Nashville, Tennessee. We only use fresh (and almost always local) Produce and Meat. Southern Vermont allows so many options for source identified food. Let us create the perfect menu for you and your loved ones We offer family style and plated service We bring the fire to you, constructing a temporary pit with cinder blocks and Iron- making your driveway or back yard the kitchen! Don't want us cooking in your yard? We understand - we remeber how to use the stove.

Great guys to work with! Very responsive, relaxed and fun to be around. They came to our barn and cooked us some bbq and had a great time with my party. Introduced us to some great sauces and honey butter. Would definitely call them again if the opportunity comes up. Thanks fellas

We hosted a small dinner party over the weekend and had the absolute best time! Charlie not only delivered one of the best meals I have ever had but brought fun and professionalism to the highest degree! We are all hoping to make this an annual event. Very very highly recommended!

Our initial quotes are food only - but fear not! We have everything you need for your party. We just need to know what to bring.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you are interested in booking an event, we will give you a call and figure out exactly what you are looking for. After that we can send you a draft menu; you pick and choose what you like.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jacob is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Both Charlie and Jacob are ServSafe certified.
