We recently moved to Vermont and are looking for time sensitive yard work to be done before cool/cold weather starts. We posted a job here on Thumbtack and had this company respond. They agreed to come out and look at the property in order to give us an accurate estimate. While here, they walked the property and measured. They assured us they would be in touch with us as soon as possible with a quote. It's been almost 3 weeks and we've never heard back from this contractor. We're very disappointed in our Thumbtack experience.

Did some yard clean-up but damaged a number of plants, poor knowledge of how to prune, took out plants unnecessarily. Also did some work in my bathroom that was OK. Difficult company to deal with, very overpriced.

Marianne M. was a client who needed the work done immediately. All our work was presented to Marianne in a detailed written proposal after discussing her need to clean up her property & repair a custom sink/vanity so she could put her house on the market. The work was approved by her prior to start of the project. All of the neighbors stated to us how nice the landscape looked during our work and afterwards, as it had been neglected for many years with much overgrowth. We accommodated Marianne to meet her short deadline and even quoted her on a custom bathroom repair to install fixtures and counter top she had personally ordered during our landscape work. We provided quality workmanship after her approval of our written estimate with quality materials she did not use. The interior work was completed by an experience master carpenter/contractor with over 40 years experience. We did an awesome job, overall well within her budget and time frame.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide an estimate and if the estimate is accepted, we will request a 50% deposit to confirm and schedule the work. You can pay online using a bank transfer ACH at no charge and up to $250.00 using a credit card. All credit card payments over $250 will be assessed a 3% processing fee, billed separately.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to schedule an appointment to meet with the client to discuss their personal needs, likes and dislikes and to walk the property to give the best quote possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a two year degree in horticulture, hire assistants with a minimum of two years experience. Currently, I have 40 years combined experience between myself and my assistants to offer my clients great service!
