Introduction: I specialize in soapstone and slate countertops which are not fabricated correctly in many cases because a company works with any type of natural stone. Soapstone and VT slate are very different from other solid surface materials. That being said you don't buy a ford from a chevy dealer! Go with someone that deals with the material everyday.
