My RTT session with Jen was transformative in areas of my life beyond what I went into the session to address. With Jen’s clear and expert guidance, I felt on a visceral level the connection between childhood experiences and my present beliefs. I was able to release the emotions connected with my limited understanding of those events and now find myself living from a more expansive empowering center. From day one, Jennifer made me feel safe and comfortable sharing more vulnerable parts of myself. I reached out to Jen for guidance during a chaotic time in my life. I was struggling with my health, unsatisfied in my relationship and burnt out in my career. I enrolled in Jen's Resilient Practitioner Program. Although therapy I had received prior to this was beneficial, Jen was able to provide a different kind of support. Her therapy background and somatic coaching mixed with yogic philosophy was just what I needed. I slowly began to learn how to listen to my body and become more aware of what it was telling me. While the work was not easy, it was very effective. After about 6 months working with Jen one-on-one and in supportive group sessions, I started to realize how far I had come. Now, I am passionate about my field again, on the way to starting my own business. I am happier than I've ever been in my marriage. I have built the resiliency to take on whatever challenges comes my way thanks to Jen and Mind Body Awareness. Jennifer is awesome! We have been working for a few months on managing my anxiety and depression and she has helped me so much! I was in search for a holistic/yoga approach to therapy and she fit my needs perfectly! She incredibly approachable and makes me feel so comfortable during every session. Jen Degen is a wonderful and supportive therapist. Using the somatic approach, she helped me resolve many issues and life challenges that I was facing. Jen is also a great yoga teacher!
