FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of all I love to be a pups first groomer. I know from 20 years of grooming that a dogs first grooming experience can make or break the future of this life long chore. Some of the dogs that are handled harshly, caged, scared or untrained welcome our tender care. Our dogs are carried and handled with respect, and our nooses are more like a harness then a choke. Doggie Doos uses eco-friendly products where ever possible, including baby shampoo for faces.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take a tour of the Daycare, meet the dogs that are there and see if they are scared or happy. If they won't let you in with the dogs for the tour, beware. They may have dogs that are not people friendly, so try to ignore the dogs and just look about. Remember the dogs are mostly there to be with other dogs. Although we at Doggie Doos Daycare Too use behavior modification to socialize all dogs to people too. When you step into a Grooming Parlor, does it smell clean, are the dogs packed into kennels? Did the groomer tell you about a nick or a boo boo your dog got? Did they tell you about a possible health problem they may have noticed? Did they offer you an ointment, clot powder or to pay your vet bill if serious enough and their fault? There is always exceptions to the rule, but Doggie Doos neglects nothing of the sort, or your money back. Doggie Doos & Daycare Too offers the hard worker a place to allow their dog to play, potty, drink, chew and eat before and after grooming. All while they are away at work. Does your groomer? A cheap price may not be the best thing for your choice of groomers, they may not include all that is needed. Doggie Doos always includes nail trims, ear cleaning, and thorough brush outs with all baths. You may also request teeth brushing/treatment, anal gland tending and nail buffing at no extra charge.
