Handyman needs to improve his utilization of working capital. Things were going nicely. He demo my deck, found problems that needed repair and gave me a bid and final equipment list. However, when it came time to start work he demanded immediate liquid cash. I sent PayPal and he returned it as it take days to get funds. I wrote a check and he refused to wait for it to clear his bank (they wanted him to wait 7 days). I offered to pay store over the phone for any supplies and materials needed which he refused. All these issues he blamed on me and my credit worthy, however, I had nothing to do with how long it takes PayPal or his bank to disperse his funds into his account. He then demanded full contract payment to proceed with work which I refused. I got another contractor to pick up the job and they completed the work in 3 day to meet my deadline (see finished deck below). YZ Construction.
