- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I offer so many services, I offer a price list for single items as well as packages. Hourly rates are $60 to $100 per - depending on the type of project. However, I have accepted some jobs within a clients budget, though it didn't meet my pricing. Photo Packages start at $125
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I start a conversation. I need to know what the client is expecting to get from a photo session or design work. Then, we exchange ideas. I show them examples either from my own portfolio or from an internet search. I ask the client to do the same, to send me at least 3 examples of images that they can find online. If we haven't already, we schedule an appointment time and set a location for portraits. If its design work, I then send an itemized quote, work commences when a deposit is paid.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught. I was successfully certified online in Adobe Photoshop, Digital Photography, Adobe Dreamweaver several years ago. I've always been pretty good at finding my way through software, hardware and electronics. The best way for me to learn is to just 'dive in'!
