- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My normal rate is $65 per hour, but I am offering Thumbtack users a reduced rate of $50 per hour to stay competitive and expand my business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is tough to quote a price without knowing all of the details and expectations of a client. So the first step is to ask questions and listen. I then provide a quote based on those parameters which is firm unless the agreed upon parameters are changed by the client at any time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I come from a marketing background with a commercial art school degree and post graduate classes on illustration, direct marketing and brand development. But nothing provides a better education than experience, which I've built up over the years of working for ad agencies, design firms, corporate marketing departments and having my own business.
