I often remind the kids that they’re beautiful withOUT face paint too. They’re so excited when they jump in my chair that I want to remind them that when the paint is removed that night: they’re STILL beautiful . For most kids at the 5-6 age range washing off the face paint they’ve cherished for a few hours feels like a cruelty. As a parent we deal with it. We know they will have forgotten about it the next morning. Life is full of disappointments. To lessen the sting we created Petal Drops Keepsakes. About 95% of our designs have them. Mom or dad can peel the keepsake off, rub off the medical tape on the back and give the keepsake to the child for future use, or just to have. Either way they have a tangible reminder of that face painting.
