I hated the prospect of even talking with a personal trainer for fear of having to deal with the stereotype I had built up in my mind about what 'they must all be like'. Terry challenged that stereotype for me; he was kind and open, attentive and thoughtful, responsible and accommodating. No pressure or guilt or shaming or judgement. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our pricing includes travel time to your location. We offer a 10% discount for sessions prepaid or invoice at the end of the month just for the number of sessions used in the month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we begin with a fitness evaluation ($99, but discount to normal training rate for Thumbtack customers) which includes a complete health history, body composition testing, a cardiovascular test, and strength and endurance tests to set baseline measures and give us the information needed to customize the best program for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Knowledge is a key to health and all of our trainers maintain their certifications through continuing education programs, trade journals, etc. every year. We have a lot of experience working with all types of goals whether it be weight loss or weight gain, injury prevention, rehabilitation (working with a therapist/doctor), as well as sports specific programs.
