- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Providing clients with a PAR-Q medical release form, gather information on goals and general physical information (i.e. weight, height, age, general family health history). Initial physical assessment testing will then ensue, and clients desiring further training will be provided with training sessions and/or package opportunities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 8 years of personal experience in training and competitions- with a background in Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit training, personal training and nutrition consultation- women's group classes and private powerlifting coaching. I am an exercise science major with EWU, have certifications with USAW, NSCF, CAFS, and will have completion of CSCS certification by fall '20.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been incredibly passionate about being active, and began getting asked questions by friends that wanted some help in their training. After doing this for a few years I got official certifications and began offering training packages for clients.
