- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work with a business coach who is constantly training me and keeping me up to date on important developments in my industry. I also actively watch blogs, follow newsletters, Pintrest, attend conferences for special speakers, and go through online training for short courses on random developments in the industry of event planning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A combination of loving events as a hobby, having multiple career counselors say this was my niche, & accidentally falling into it as a job. I have been contracting for 7 years and recently decided I was meant to have my own company and reach more people.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Social Events. Many birthdays, mixers, holiday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, wedding receptions, sports parties, singles events, networking events, black tie events, & dinner socials.
