Welcome to Whim Bakery. We are a custom cake and confection studio that creates one of a kind desserts that not only look amazing but taste just as delicious! From wedding cakes to custom cakes and desserts, we have a passion for baking and decorating! Our goal is to combine your personal style and inspiration with our artistic talent, resulting in a delicious piece of art that is uniquely yours. In addition to wedding cakes, we create all kinds of specialty cakes and treats for birthdays, baby showers, graduations and engagements. Our cakes and fillings are made from scratch, using fresh, local ingredients to ensure your custom cake tastes as good as it looks. We offer a wide array of flavor and filling choices, and all of our flowers and decorations are handmade and custom colored to match your vision.

Sam did a great job on our cake. She worked with us to get the perfect design, and even was willing to change things last minute. It tasted great and looked even better.

I cannot say enough good things about Whim Bakery and Sam! She is absolutely awesome. Her responsiveness, effort, and just all around attentive-ness to what I wanted was amazing! She was easy to talk to and made sure my ideas came to life. Our cupcakes and smash cake were both delicious and stunning. Everyone was in awe and kept asking who made them! I’ll be hiring her in the future for other events.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each of our cakes are handcrafted to fit each customer using the finest of ingredients. We may cost a bit more than others but between taste and presentation nothing can compare.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with a degree in Culinary Arts, then finished my training with a Patisserie Certification at the school of Escoffier.
