- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I really enjoy doing this kind of work. The lawn mowers are easier to work on than automobiles, and easier to store. The same with chainsaws. The people Ive delt with have always been pleased and have been very good customers.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Usually on lawn mowers problems with carburetors are most common. Then its air cleaners that get plugged up and have to be replaced. Followed by blades that need to be sharpened or replaced.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A customer came in with a lawn mower that had no spark. I replaced the magneto with a spare I had in my storage shed. There was also a bad oil leak that was comming from the rear of the filler spout. I also had a spare filler spout to replace it with. I was lucky I had spare parts at home so I didnt have to buy any thing.
