Movers Alex and Andrew were VERY hard workers. I had chairs, couches, coffee tables, and a dining room table that needed to be taken to the garage. They completed everything I asked in a very short time and it wasn’t easy. The only possible issue would be they did not bring their own tools and they asked me for tools to take off the feet on a couch. I had tools so it wasn’t a problem. This move required no truck. It was a labor only move from one level of my townhome to another level up/down one flight of stairs. Some furniture items were too large to take down the flight of stairs so they used outside doors and went around the house. All good!

I would (and will) hire these folks again. Prompt, easy to work with, industrious. They moved very heavy boxes and furniture in summer heat up three flights of stairs for hours. They are such hard workers I had to INSIST they take a break. Easy to communicate with. Truly great experience.

Aleksandr and his guys Philip and Andrew were amazing! We hired AT moving to help move our large furniture - a large sectional, sofa, arm chairs, 2 bedrooms of furniture, credenzas, dresser, desk, multiple rugs, chairs and misc items. They were punctual and very careful with our items and filled their entire 16' truck. They were super efficient, taking only 4 hours to load / unload everything. This would have taken my husband and a friend 8-10 hrs at least. Now we can unpack, relax and enjoy the rest of our weekend 🙏🏻Highly recommend AT moving for your next move!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack pricing is confirmed before booking. Local moving is $130/hour for 2 movers and a truck, with a 1-hour minimum and no separate truck or fuel fee. Labor-only and packing-only are $100/hour for 2 movers, with a 2-hour minimum. Standard truck use, moving blankets, dollies, and straps are included with local moving. Travel time is billed separately as one additional hour at the $130 crew rate and confirmed before booking. Final pricing depends on crew size, access, distance, equipment, and scope. Share your date, locations, inventory or photos, stairs/elevators, and oversized items for an exact quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by reviewing the date, locations, inventory or photos, access, distance, packing needs, and oversized items. We then recommend the appropriate crew, vehicles, equipment, schedule, and pricing. Before booking, we confirm the full scope in writing. On moving day, the team protects the property, follows the agreed plan, and communicates throughout the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has hands-on training in safe lifting, furniture protection, loading and unloading, furniture disassembly and reassembly, and securing items for transport. We review access, stairs, elevators, fragile and oversized items before each job so we can assign the right crew and equipment. The profile owner has completed a Thumbtack background check.
