- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Embrace Hope Counseling charges $65 per session for individuals and $80 for families and couples. A session lasts 50 minutes. I also do 80 minute sessions for couples and families when needed which are $100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Making my clients feel welcomed, respected and cared about is my goal throughout therapy. As a therapist, I have put special care into making my office as inviting, comfortable and safe as possible for my clients. I have clients fill out my intake forms that they can get from my website or come in early to their appointment and fill out paperwork. The paperwork helps me to know what areas that are concerning them and also if there are any other issues I need to consider as a therapist when working with my clients. It also includes HIPPA paperwork and information concerning my expertise and credentials. Clients like to email me or call me and ask to a few questions and tell me somethings about themselves. The first session is going over different aspects of counseling, getting to know each other and figuring out how I, as their therapist, can help them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. Before getting my M.A,, I had been Raped Crisis Counselor, a Small Group Leader and Coordinator and a military wife of 23 years.
