- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Reasearching the value of the work you need done will help you understand why the numbers you are getting may seem high. I aim for below the targeted budget line as long as the budget number is realistic to the market.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a discussion over the phone, verbally or through text, to get to know each other and find out if I have the means to assist with your project. If I can help out, I'll set an appointment to put eyes on it. From there I like to use email as an accounting of our communications where I'll put together a simple agreement outlining your expectations and my expected compensation to accomplish the scope of work.
