- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1) look for longevity in the business, you want to see years in service, not months. 2) don't be shy to ask for references, anyone who does good work can easily supply you with 2 or more references from happy clients 3) a cleaning service should have all of their own cleaning supplies and equipment and it should be of reasonable quality. 4) a good cleaner should be able to identify what the surfaces in your home are and what is the safest and best way to clean it. It is amazing how many will use the wrong products on wood and marble especially. 5) if you are looking for the very cheapest that you can find, keep in mind there is a reason they are cheap. The price should not be inflated either. There is a 'going rate' and if they are way over or way under there could be a problem. 6) I could make this list very long so I will just say that if you have a bad feeling about a prospective cleaning service or any other type of company or person for that matter, go with your gut feeling.
