My son and daughter both took guitarlessons from Jye. They learned and progressed much quicker than I expected! He doesn’t just teach songs, he teaches chords and theory and my kids are now writing their own music. We only stopped lessons because of relocation. Jye is an excellent teacher with a great student relationship and rapport. Highly recommend!!

I was skeptical about what my 13 year old son was actually learning during his lesson time. I didnt micromanage his practicing so I was really surprised when I heard him perform. Moreover, he had a skills assessment that I was present for and the assessor was blown away by his theoretical knowledge as well. All credit goes to Jye. What a great mentor during such a critical learning time in my sons life. He loves music and sometimes teachers can make or break that love. Jye definitely helped his love for music grow exponentially. In my opinion, that is what is most important- even over skill and theory. Thank you Jye!!!

My daughter and I both loved our lessons with Jye! I took Piano and my daughter did piano and guitar. He had a great teaching style that worked perfectly for us both. My daughter has ADHD and he worked with her and was so patient. I would recommend Jye to anyone that is wanting to learn the piano or the guitar.

My son and I took guitarlessons from Jye. Jye was always excited as we were for each lesson and would make the most of the time that we spent each week in the lessons. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are charged on a monthly basis. You will have one lesson every week. Occasionally, you will receive a 5th lesson free in one month.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My website includes contact instructions. Please email me the information necessary. Upon sending your email, you will receive a Lesson Policy Statement, and we will arrange a meeting time for the prospective student and their parent (if applicable). If I think it will be a good student/teacher fit, I will accept the student, and we will schedule a time for them to have weekly lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played music for nearly 20 years. Throughout my musical career I have taught and inspired many musicians and bands. I have trained groups to play together for weddings, funerals, and all special events in between. Additionally, I train students to perform in entertainment settings such as open mic nights, farmer's markets, and restaurants/bars. I myself have also played as lead guitarist, bass guitarist, and pianist in several groups including a dinner theater folk band in Jackson Hole, WY.
