We hired Damon to put in a deer fence around a large garden area, and design it to keep rabbits out too. we wanted it to kind of disappear visually so we could look past it. It has three gates, and looks great. He also created another area with a gate to keep our dogs in our yard. The ground was terrible to work with, wet clay, lots of rain, changes in the grade of the land, and not a simple rectangle anywhere. Damon was very professional, showed up on time, made excellent suggestions about many things including materials, placement, and design. Once the project was complete, he returned a couple of times to fix things we had futzed with, and to replace a latch for no charge that was not working correctly. I highly recommend Damon. Reallly nice guy too.

I'm really happy with the work Damon did for me! I called him about a small deck attached to my dining room that had become rotten and unstable and a section of fence that had blown down. When he came out, he took a lot of notes and pictures and I felt confident that he understood my needs. He also did a good job explaining the work that would be done and was willing to make a few changes at my request, which I really appreciated. The area of the fence he fixed matches the rest and he also reinforced another post that he noticed had come loose. But, most importantly, the deck turned out beautifully and I've really been loving my new space! Damon even built me a small planter box with some leftover materials for me to plant kitchen herbs in the spring. I can't recommend Whidbey Island Fence and Deck enough!

I met with Damon based on other reviewers comments on Google. He did not disappoint. He was very thorough when explaining how he constructs fences. Our property takes on a lot of wind and his design of the fence was perfect. I wasn't able to be home during the construction but Damon kept me up to date on his progress and also sent some pictures. I have also received several comments from neighbors on how much they liked the design and how meticulous Damon was in constructing the fence. The finish product is beautiful and fits the design of the house as well. I wouldn't hesitate in hiring Damon again!

Damon replaced our backyard fence that that was destroyed by the wind.His estimate was fair and the bid he submitted was very detailed. We made significant changes throughout the project and Damon was very flexible and again very detailed on the bid changes. I really appreciated Damon's design suggestions, his attention to detail, and his communication through the whole process. I would highly recommend him for your fence project.
